Video: Matt Damon finally gets his revenge on Jimmy Kimmel

Is there anything Matt Damon can’t do? In the feud of Jimmy Kimmel vs. Matt Damon, the Promised Land writer came out victorious last night as he hijacked Jimmy Kimmel Live!, renaming it Jimmy Kimmel Sucks and promoting himself as the host.
During the hour-long segment, Kimmel watched helplessly, gagged and bound to a chair as Damon finally enacted his revenge
“Is it weird to see a person with actual talent host this show?” Damon asked to a roar of laughter from the crowd.
Kimmel, who has spent years pranking Damon and often ending his show with “Sorry, Matt Damon is here, but we ran out of time and can’t have him on …” is not completely innocent in this feud. In 2008, after Damon created a video proclaiming that he slept with Kimmel’s then-girlfriend Sarah Silverman, Kimmel released a counter blow video proclaiming that he “scored” with Ben Affleck.
Despite this, Damon’s takeover has come out on top: He gave the show some star power by bringing on Robin Williams, Sheryl Crow, Gary Oldman, and Reese Witherspoon — acts that Damon says Kimmel could never get on his show.
And what’s an evil mastermind with out a trusted sidekick? Damon replaced Kimmel’s best bud Guillermo with Andy Garcia. Finally, adding a little more salt to Kimmel’s wounded ego, Ben Affleck and Sarah Silverman joined in on the gags.
“For ten years I have waited in that green room, and every night Kimmel says, apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time,” explains Damon. “If you bump a man long enough, a night will come when he bumps you back.”
