Tuesday morning,
July 17, 2012 that left two people dead and 23 others wounded. Longshow,
who helped organize the party where the shooting occurred, tried to
help Shyanne Charles, 14,
the young girl who was fatally shot.

birth in Kampala, Uganda. Although maternal
mortality rates have dropped
by nearly half worldwide since 1990, according to the World Health
Organization, over 800 mothers die every day from preventable causes
related to childbirth - with
over half of these deaths occurring in
Sub-Saharan Africa.
