Canary Mission, founded to document antisemitic and anti-Israel actions on the campuses of North American universities, has released a study of University of Toronto, concluding its administrators failed to respond while their campus was taken over by supporters of terrorism, organized by outside agitators. Dozens of U of T faculty were listed as supporters of the pro-Hamas demonstrations that characterized the activities of the encampment. On May 2nd, a group of protesters breached a fence, then occupied the King's College Circle courtyard for two months.

The fence was lined with posters celebrating the atrocities in southern Israel committed by Hamas operatives, calling for more violent uprisings both in Israel and in Canada as well. In their study and subsequent report, Canary Mission pointed out 153 professors, 123 employed by the university included, publicly gave their support to the encampment, while 45 of them took active participation and six delivered addresses to the gathering of antisemites bitterly condemning Israel's counterterrorism action in Gaza.

Concealing identities behind keffiyehs and medical masks, these were sociopathic thugs who acted to confine access to the occupied area where any who wished to enter were first forced to commit to agreeing with a number of statements that excluded 'Zionists' or Israel-sympathizers, much less Jews themselves from gaining access. The report's authors are scathing in their condemnation of the  university's administration which took no action to arrest the protest movement that posed a hostile environment for Jewish students and faculty.

The pathetic excuse given was a wish to avoid violence by confronting and attempting to dismantle the camp, much less enforce the university's own code of conduct. Nor did the university ever appear to address the issue of its own professors supporting the encampment. Some of whom have been identified as members of the university's chapter of Faculty for Palestine, credited in the report with forcing the administration to retreat from its threat of disciplining faculty members refusing to comply with the initial trespass notice.

The Faculty for Palestine complained that the university had ignored its responsibility to its own "supposed commitment to academic freedom, anti-racism and human rights", while they were themselves instrumental in denying those freedoms and respect for human rights while practising racism against the Jewish student body and faculty members. As well, many of the F4P members have involvement in the Hearing Palestine initiative at the university, "an intellectual hub at the University of Toronto that centres the study of Palestine and facilitates advanced interdisciplinary research on Palestine, past, present and future".

This is, of course, a Palestine of their imaginative choosing, linked with Arab Palestinians and de-linked from the primary presence of Palestinian Jews, when during the pre-Christian era of the Roman Occupation of the Middle East, the province known as Judea was renamed Syria Palaestina by the Roman administration. Its occupants were Jews. There never was a 'Palestine' dedicated to Arabs, not in the dim and distant past, not in the recent past, and not at the present time, other than an Arab co-opting of ancestral Judea.

Seriously, this summer 'camp' program is set to progress. Presumably the invitees are children. Youth whose parents, one would imagine, are anxious for their children to be grounded in an 'early-education' ideology of divisiveness and hate, one that nurtures a simmering antisemitism justifying violence of every description from rape to torture to mass murder ostensibly liberating children's minds from the concept of 'doing unto others'; in fact reversing it.

• Week 4: “Media after October 7th”

The summer months are to be segmented into camps 1, 2, and 3 for a complete introduction, education and matriculation in terror. The initial semester to take place from June 24 to June 28; that programming week titled "The Ongoing Nakba", referencing the 1948 establishment of the State of Israel and the alienation and exile from the land (sometimes forcefully but mostly voluntarily) of Arabs calling themselves Palestinians for whom Israel's presence is a 'disaster'.

The second installment of the 'summer camp', from July 1 to July 5 entitled "Different fronts of the Movement" meant to bring the impressionable and eager-to-learn students up to speed on the intricacies of violent antipathy emanating from Israel's 'victims', and the resolve by those victims to 'resist' the 'occupation' that their ongoing violence against the Jewish state and its people has engendered as their target has its own rationale for push-back: survival.

The third and final segment wrapping up the summer camp anticipated to become a roaring success, held from July 8 to July 12 addresses "Media after October 7th". That proverbial fly on the wall will be glued in  absorbed fascination at the spin given the sadistic savagery accompanying the pathological terrorism these students will be taught to cherish and emulate.

 

There can be little doubt but that the 'revolutionary youth summer program' has been inspired by Hamas's own such summer programs benefiting the youth of Gaza where they too are exposed to the detestation with which they must approach the presence of the Jewish state next to their own allotted geography, both situated on historical ancestral Judaic land. What Gaza's children were exposed to and are proud to be part of, is commitment to martyrdom where they are programmed to anticipate their futures as proud footsoldiers in the destruction of Israel.

 

The UN Relief and Works Agency provides summer camps for children of more than 5 million descendants of Arab evacuees of the 1948 war.

Modelling will no doubt be taken from Hamas summer camps where Palestinian youth are taught how to handle weaponry and how to use those weapons to best advantage in destroying Jewish 'Zionist' lives. Taught to aspire to the glories of martyrdom for which they and their families will be handsomely paid not only in celebration and hero-recognition, but in actual cash funded generously by the West through victim-compassionate generosity and by oil-wealthy Qatar and Iran.

 

The Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights, describing itself as a student-led group at McGill University, posted its announcement of its summer camp program on Instagram. Along with the details of its proposed summer camp's highlights there is an accompanying image of Palestinian members of Hamas clad in keffiyehs, clutching machine-guns. These men are what the children to be enrolled will be taught to admire and conform their future thoughts and expressions toward. And what could be more appealing to young boys than the excitement of handling weapons?

 

Typically, while the parents of such children feel they are preparing their children to take their place in a world which their minds inhabit in pathological derangement, Jews are not too thrilled with the prospect of children on Canadian soil, with Palestinian and Arab/Muslim groups committed to destroying Zionism in all its forms being taught by proxies of Qatar/Iran/UNHCR to aspire to terrorism.

University administrators have suddenly become aware that their august institutions have become hotbeds of antisemitism, even though that ancient curse on the Jews has been manifesting its presence for months, in the wake of the October 7 atrocities committed by Palestinian terrorist groups in Israel and the predictable Israel Defense Forces response by invading Gaza for the purpose of annihilating the Hamas government's terrorist infrastructure and eliminating its terrorist operatives. Even before October 7, for years antisemitism on Canadian campuses have slithered out of the woodworks, a reflection of Canadian universities' courting of foreign students and the influx of immigration from North Africa and the Middle East.

Some of the current responses from the universities in the face of swelling, blatant and vicious antisemitic intimidation of Jewish students, along with the condemnations of Israel and its response to the October 7 bloodbath perpetrated on Israeli citizens have been carefully worded with the intention of both decrying the illegal acts of protest occupation yet causing as little community offense as possible. It is telling that concerns of offending the new and burgeoning Muslim-Canadian population sees university administrators following the example of prime minister Justin Trudeau who cannot condemn antisemitism without including 'Islamophobia'.

Now, finally, after months of viral and sometimes violent university protests, Canadian universities are paying attention to the stress and fear these protests engender among Jews and Jewish university students, in the face of protest occupations of university campuses. The University of Toronto has issued a warning that protest tents on campus would be considered "trespassing"; that while the school supports freedom of expression, assembly and protest, occupations of student buildings and encampments would not be permitted.

The trouble with these warnings finally being issued, is that they've come too late. Previous assemblies complete with violent language, intimidation and disorder were permitted to occur, unremarked upon, with each succeeding iteration being more irrational, threatening and chaotic than the last. The result of which has been a growing sense of entitlement by 'pro-Palestinian', 'anti-Israel' agitators, many of whom have finally been recognized as not emanating from the student bodies of  the universities themselves, but outside organizers.

The protesters insist it is their right under the Canadian constitution to behave in a way that disrupts normal life of the university and most certainly the lives of Jewish students whom the protests tend to target for criminal harassment. Lawyers acting on their behalf have informed school administrators that the protesters refuse to disperse and dispense with their agitation until all their demands have been met by the university; condemnation of Israel, and de-investing in any ventures in which Israel would be involved, as well as outlawing interchange with Israeli academics. Their lawyers have informed school administrators that the students "have instead [of removing their tents], indicated that they intended to remain on campus indefinitely".
